Debra Gress, CRNP

Debra Gress is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who graduated in 1998 from Laroche University with a specialty in Family Practice (birth through senescence). Debra also had the 15-years privilege and honor of training and working under a caring, extremely proficient psychiatrist in private practice. Her professional tapestry has been woven through years in hospital work, state correctional facilities, training and precepting student nurses, community lectures, family practice offices, psychiatric offices, skilled nursing facilities, and private home care. Debra has a particular interest in functional medicine, correcting hormonal imbalances in males and females from puberty onward using bio-identical hormone replacement (i.e., PCOS, PMS, infertility, sexual dysfunction, menstrual complaints, surgical menopause, and hypothyroidism). She doesn't use traditional synthetic hormones and instead uses bioidentical ("natural") HRT.

Debra believes we are all humans first, before we add any of the trappings of status, title, professional or wealth. She seeks to treat such complex creatures, unique people with innate value, and a hope that things can be better than they have been. While medications are an important tool, Debra contends that it is one tool of many that she can use to help you. She will also help you understand how diet, stress levels, activity level, sleep/wake schedules, and substance use can work for or against your physical health.
