Hello! My name is Aimee, I have been a nurse practitioner for 9 years and love my job. I currently volunteer at a clinic for the uninsured and see patients once per week to help them develop plans with achievable goals to manage their diseases and disease processes, without complicating life. My main focus at the free clinic is to manage diabetic patients, but I also do all the “normal” PCP work, such as helping patients to manage chronic diseases, seeing acute issues, doing simple procedures, and dealing with basic mental health.
My personal life? I have two kiddos that are the same age from May to July, which means they are both 5 years old right now, but my son is super excited about his Mind Craft #6 birthday right around the corner! Cooper is a super sweet, busy little boy who loves building Legos, dance class, and is very imaginative. Reese is a bubbly little girl who just turned the big “5” loves dance class, gymnastics, and playing dress-up; this summer, she has perfected her round-off and front flip on the trampoline. My husband is an environmental engineer, Chad, who makes super cool creations for the kids (and our house in general) to play with, one of which is a bubbling sand box in our basement (sand is silicone free)!
I am so excited to be here and cannot wait to meet you!
